Actor Ahn Se-ha to Make Only Appearance in Musical After School Violence Allegations Emerge

Actor An Se-ha is set to take the stage for the last time in the musical "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder" amid controversy surrounding allegations of school violence.

On the 13th, the production company Show Note informed Star News that they had announced casting changes on the 12th, indicating that singer Jung Mun-sung would take over An's role for performances on the 19th and 24th, while actor Jeong Sang-hoon would step in on the 27th. They explained that due to the recent issue surrounding An, it was deemed inappropriate for him to perform until matters were resolved. Show Note also stated that they believed it was crucial to revise An's remaining performance schedule in consultation with his agency.

An Se-ha was originally scheduled to be part of the cast for the performance on the 13th. As no further explanation was provided regarding the change, it is speculated that he may still perform as planned. Show Note announced that the deadline for ticket cancellations would be the afternoon of the 13th.

Following the allegations against An Se-ha, attention is drawn to his upcoming performance as it may mark a significant moment in his career. A user identifying as a former classmate claimed that An bullied peers during their school years, describing experiences of physical intimidation and threats. This accusation has gained traction, with more individuals coming forward to share similar claims.

In response to these allegations, An Se-ha's agency, Hunus Entertainment, has strongly denied the claims, calling them "100% false." They emphasized their long-standing professional relationship with An and expressed confidence in his character, stating that the accusations are baseless and malicious. Currently, An has retained legal counsel and filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Division of the Southern Gyeonggi Police Agency.
