Popular Korean actress Nana has revealed that she has been removing her tattoos for over a year now.
In a recent video titled “Tattoo.” on her personal YouTube channel ‘NA( )NA,’ Nana candidly shared her journey of visiting a clinic to undergo tattoo removal. During her appointment, she informed the doctor that while some areas, like her ankle, were completely cleared, she intended to keep her 1968 tattoo. Notably, despite lacking any numbing cream that day, she bravely endured the painful procedure.
Post-treatment, Nana discussed her concerns about scarring with a nurse, who assured her that her skin looked clean, adding that her tattoo removal journey had been shared on social media. Nana humorously questioned whether the articles about her transformation could help fade her tattoos further, but noted that her ankle still showed no signs of fading. When asked about retouching photos to erase tattoos, she revealed that some shoots indeed involved digital removal while others celebrated her ink.
After her session, Nana headed to a fitting shop, sharing with her team about the laser treatment. When questioned about her decision to remove her tattoos, she candidly noted that her mother urged her to do so, stating that the pain of the removal felt significantly worse—about five times more than getting the tattoos in the first place. With her honesty and bravery in facing the pain, Nana continues to engage her fans in her evolving story.
