Former broadcaster Park Ji-yoon is selling her exclusive ownership of an apartment in Apgujeong, stirring public interest.
On the 24th, a representative from her agency, JDB Entertainment, confirmed to Herald POP that the apartment has not yet been sold, but the selling process is underway. Previously, a media outlet reported that Park was in the process of selling the Apgujeong apartment for 4.2 billion KRW. Currently, she has submitted a land transaction permit application to the Gangnam District Office along with the buyer.
This apartment has also been mentioned in the context of the dispute between Park Ji-yoon and fellow broadcaster Choi Dong-seok. The couple has been experiencing tension over the sale, with Choi repeatedly urging, "Sell the apartment quickly, please." Park responded, "I don't want to sell, but I'm also feeling the burden of the loan interest—why would you decide to sell MY apartment?"
Choi currently has a provisional seizure of 1.8 billion KRW on the apartment, likely a measure to assert his rights during the asset division process. Park Ji-yoon and Choi Dong-seok married in 2009 and have one son and one daughter, but they announced their divorce last October and are currently engaged in a legal battle over infidelity.
Custody and parental rights were granted to Park Ji-yoon, while Choi sees the children biweekly through visitation rights.
