BTS Member Jungkook Shows Support for NewJeans
BTS member Jungkook has stirred excitement among fans with a recent social media post seeming to support the girl group NewJeans. On October 14, Jungkook shared a message on his personal account that read "Artists are not guilty," accompanied by a variety of colorful heart emojis. Some fans noted that the heart colors align with those of the animated character 'Powerpuff Girls,' which NewJeans had previously collaborated with, sparking claims of Jungkook cheering for the group.
While speculation swirled regarding the post's meaning, Jungkook later added, "Don’t use them," hinting at a connection to NewJeans. In response, Big Hit Entertainment confirmed that Jungkook's message was intended to emphasize the importance of not involving young artists in disputes or controversies. This statement reflects a growing concern within the industry about the treatment of these emerging groups amidst conflicts.
Earlier on October 11, NewJeans held a live broadcast titled "What NewJeans Wants to Say" on their newly launched YouTube channel 'nwjns.' During the broadcast, the group expressed their discomfort regarding internal issues within their agency, ADOR, including the recent executive changes. They explicitly called for the return of former CEO Min Hee-jin, highlighting their discontent with the current dynamics affecting their career.
