Comedian Jo Se-ho is set to tie the knot this October, revealing his wedding invitation to the public.
The invitation disclosed that Jo will marry his non-celebrity girlfriend, who is nine years his junior, on October 20 at the Shilla Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul. The couple, who share similar interests in fashion, has been in a relationship for a year. Their heartfelt invitation expressed, “Two people who have walked different paths for a long time are now ready to walk this road together, hand in hand,” and politely declined floral tributes.
Wedding photos are expected to be released soon, as Jo Se-ho recently completed a photoshoot with his fiancée at a private location in Seoul. Close friends, including actor Lee Dong-wook and comedian Nam Chang-hee, joined them for the special occasion. Jo has been gradually preparing for the wedding, having also secured a newlyweds’ home in a mixed-use apartment in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
In a past interview with Star News when announcing his engagement, Jo mentioned the need for caution due to his partner’s non-celebrity status, expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support he received. The wedding ceremony will see a plethora of family, relatives, and fellow entertainers in attendance to celebrate the joyous occasion.
Jo Se-ho, who debuted as a comedian in 2001, has become a well-known figure in the entertainment industry, often referred to as a ‘professional wedding crasher’ due to a memorable incident where he missed actor Ahn Jae-wook’s wedding. Despite his humorous past, he has thrived in various shows, including ‘You Quiz on the Block’ alongside Yoo Jae-suk and recently joined the cast of KBS 2TV’s ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ Season 4, garnering significant attention.
