G-Dragon Confirms Comeback in October
Popular K-pop artist and Big Bang member G-Dragon is set to make a highly anticipated return this October.
According to reports, G-Dragon will release a digital single, marking his first return to the stage in over seven years. His last project was the album "Kwon Ji Yong," which was released in June 2017. Since completing military service in October 2019, G-Dragon has not engaged with the public as a musician.
This year, he has been involved in notable activities, including participating in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) with his new agency, Galaxy Corporation, and being appointed as a visiting professor at KAIST in June. Despite these ventures, fans have been eager for musical updates since there have been no new releases. Understanding this anticipation, G-Dragon is planning comprehensive activities, including new music and television appearances to satisfy his long-awaiting fans.
Interestingly, comedian Park Myung-soo previously hinted at G-Dragon's impending comeback during his radio show, mentioning that G-Dragon would be returning soon. While Galaxy Corporation has indicated that the exact date for the comeback remains unconfirmed, this strategic approach aims to maximize promotional impact. Additionally, G-Dragon has acquired trademark rights to his names like "G-Dragon" and "GD," allowing him to freely pursue his solo career.
