Actor Kim Jae-young recently reflected on his transforming experience after starring in the popular SBS drama "The Judge from Hell."
In a celebratory interview held at a café in Gangnam, Seoul, he expressed his joy about the show's success, saying, "I’m so happy the ratings are great. I thought this drama would be fun from the first time I read the script, and I’m grateful to be part of it." He noted, "I hoped for at least 10% viewership, especially because my previous drama 'Good Partner' set a good precedent." While he faced physical challenges during action-heavy shoots, he managed to enjoy the experience, ultimately dreaming of achieving higher ratings as the series progressed.
With the show gaining popularity, Kim shared that fans have recognized him more frequently, leading to many friends reaching out to express their enjoyment of the drama. He stated, "My parents are also happy about the success. They have never fully watched a drama I was in before, so this has been fulfilling for them."
